My Layouts
I currently have 2 layouts plus the Comet Roller Coaster. I built the first one (Dukes Bottom) after I sold my Robot Wars competitor Phobia. This was prompted by the birth of my first daughter. Clearing off every weekend to fight and then spending the rest of the week fixing it again did not go down well !
Dukes Bottom was followed by my London Underground Sub-surface (As opposed to Tube ) railway layout. My love affair with London Underground stems from spending time at my Grandmother’s House near Uxbridge and being taken into London on the variety of stock still running in the late 70’s and early 80’s.
The Comet Roller Coaster was bought from the ‘States on a whim. Costing about £80, it took a couple of days to build and runs really well. I have detailed the base with some scatter and a tree or two. A great diversion from a stressful period building Hopwood.
